The Pix4Dmatic workshop by KoptR Image is an intensive two-day training delivered via videoconference, designed for professionals who wish to master the processing of photogrammetric data using Pix4Dmatic.
The first day is dedicated to an introduction to photogrammetry. Participants gain an understanding of the fundamental principles that govern the quality and accuracy of deliverables, including image overlap, ground sampling distance (GSD), coordinate systems, sources of error and proper project planning. This theoretical foundation ensures a solid understanding before moving on to software processing.
The second day focuses on the essentials of Pix4Dmatic and covers the complete workflow, from image import to the generation of 2D maps and 3D models. Participants learn how to properly configure projects, use RTK/PPK data and ground control points (GCPs), generate dense point clouds, digital surface models and textured meshes, and analyze quality reports to validate the accuracy of results.
The training also addresses best practices for file management, optimization of large dataset processing and integration with Pix4Dcloud as well as CAD and GIS environments. Participants leave with a structured understanding of the complete process, enabling them to apply Pix4Dmatic effectively in professional contexts such as surveying, construction and mapping.
