The complete training advanced pathway + L1CO offered by KoptR Image is designed for candidates who are beginning their journey and wish to progress in a structured manner toward level 1 complex operations.

This program first brings together all training related to advanced operations (TP15263), including the full theoretical course, two days of practical field training and flight review preparation. Through this process, the candidate develops the regulatory knowledge, technical skills and operational discipline required to operate in an advanced environment.

The pathway then includes the L1CO theoretical training (TP15530), comprising the 20 hours of ground instruction required by Transport Canada through a recognized training organization. This stage allows candidates to deepen their understanding of the specific requirements of complex operations and to prepare adequately for the L1CO theoretical examination.

This training provides a complete and coherent progression, enabling candidates to advance step by step from mastering advanced operations to acquiring the knowledge required to access level 1 complex operations.

Operational Field Training

This first day enables pilots to structure their operational approach, understand field requirements, and build strong foundations in safe drone piloting.

Practice of procedures and emergency management

Advanced practical training dedicated to managing abnormal and emergency situations in drone operations. This full-day session is designed to strengthen the pilot’s ability to respond effectively to unexpected events, including loss of signal, flight without GPS assistance and decision-making under stress.

Preparation for the L1CO flight review

Review and prepare effectively for the Transport Canada flight review required to obtain the level 1 complex operations drone pilot certificate.
