The KoptR Image basic operations drone pilot certificate training is designed to prepare candidates to successfully pass the official Transport Canada exam (TP15263) and operate a drone in full regulatory compliance.
Delivered entirely online with no fixed schedule, this training allows participants to learn at their own pace, according to their availability. The course covers all theoretical knowledge required by Transport Canada, including air law, air traffic rules and procedures, human factors, theory of flight, meteorology, drone systems, navigation, radiotelephony, and flight operations.

Inclusions
The training includes unlimited access to a learning portal, featuring visual materials (videos and presentations), a reference manual of over 800 pages, supplementary documents, access to up-to-date aeronautical publications (VFR charts and CFS), practical exercises, mini-test and practice exams similar to the official Transport Canada exam. Email support from an instructor is also included.
The course content has been updated to reflect the new regulations that came into effect on November 4, 2025. Participants who choose to pursue the advanced operations training within one year of completing the basic course will receive a credit applicable toward that program.
